THOUSAND OAKS, Calif.--Lamia Financial Group, LLC, a full-service financial planning and wealth management company, announces that Jeffrey Borenstein and Jill Reagan have achieved the Certified Financial Planner™ designation.
Reagan provides financial planning advisory services to clients, and Borenstein’s focus is helping clients with wealth management and tax planning services consistent with the firm’s consultative approach.

Borenstein joined Lamia Financial in 2008 after a 30-year career as a partner with an accounting firm. He graduated from California State University, Northridge in 1976 with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, with an option in accounting. In 1978, he received his Certified Public Accounting designation. A 35-year member of the Thousand Oaks Rotary, he served as club president in 1989-90 and is a Paul Harris Fellow. He is also a member of The Bequest Society of Rotary International and the Financial Planning Association of Ventura County.
A Certified Public Accountant since 1987, Reagan has experience in tax planning and preparation as well as internal and external auditing. She joined Lamia Financial in 2012, and is a member American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the California Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Financial Planning Association of Ventura County. Reagan graduated from California State University, Long Beach with a bachelor’s degree in business administration with an option in accounting.
The CFP® designation is awarded by the CFP Board of Standards, Inc. Candidates must complete a rigorous series of graduate-level coursework, pass a two-day exam, and meet work experience and ethics requirements in order to receive the designation.
